This is the third year that we are helping join students in Sète France with those from Pleasantville NY in science exchanges.
When students present their science projects in French, stay with French families visit schools and the beautiful city of Sète they establish long lasting relationships.
Those same students from Sete visit Pleasantville and experience another culture, a different approach to education and of course visit New York City ! Those bonds between students and empathy for another culture last a lifetime.
This year we are expanding our trip to include our friends from the French American School in Mamaroneck whose teachers some of us have known for decades and have agreed to join our group. We also hope to attend the Escale a Sete a biannual event when the harbour is replete with sailing ships and nautical activity !
Please help us raise the funds for the SetePleasantville Collaborative which is registered as a charity with the IRS and New York State. All funds are used for travel as we are all volunteers.
